On January 27, 2019, Student Chapter Treasurer Ravichandra Rampure and President Erik Nevland submitted an application for a Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) Foundation Student Activities Fund. A request was submitted for an in-kind donation of two textbooks: the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Canada, 5th Edition and the Geometric Design Guide for Canadian Roads, 2017 Edition. On March 22, 2019, notification was received that the application was accepted and that the textbooks would be shipped shortly.

The ITE York University Student Chapter would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for this generous donation which will help train the next generation of Transportation Professionals at York University. These texts will also be helpful when preparing for the CITE Traffic Bowl competition.
